Move the toothbrush on every side of your kid’s teeth – top, front, and backside of each tooth. Make sure you don’t leave a single portion of your child’s teeth.
Most children have the habit of swallowing toothpaste. Teach your child to spit the toothpaste after brushing is done. Warn kids that their tummy will be upset if they swallow toothpaste.
Usually, parents don’t give importance to flossing when it comes to kids. But that is not actually true. Flossing is important for kids too. It helps to remove food and plaque that develop between the teeth and gum line. If you don’t remove food and plaque from your kid’s mouth regularly, then it may lead to tartar later. And, that will be fatal for your kid.

The pediatric dentist recommends flossing from the time 2 teeth touch each other. There is no need to floss every day. You can floss twice a week. That would be enough for your kid.

He can give you a diet chart where you can understand what food you should give for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If your kid is really hungry and wants to have snacks, give fruits, low-fat cheese, and raw veggies. Make delicious sandwiches with low-fat cheese for breakfast. Don’t allow your kid to eat sweets and sugary soda. If your kid is thirsty, then ask him to drink water or low-fat milk.
